Vi      Public Forum: Persons wishing to speak must fill out a speaker card and return it to the Clerk.  Comments will be limited to three (3) minutes.  Note, however, that State law and administrative rules prevent the Town Council from taking any formal action on any item discussed at this time.  The Council may schedule such items as regular agenda items and act upon them in the future.

VII     Consent Agenda - This section is reserved for routine, non-controversial items requiring council action. These items are handled with a singular motion and without council discussion. Any councilman may request that an item be removed from consent agenda for discussion under New Business.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF PALM SHORES, BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING TITLE XV, CHAPTER 157 ZONING REGULATIONS, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE TOWN; AMENDING SECTION 157.003 TO PROVIDE A NEW DEFINITION OF “HEIGHT OF BUILDING”; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTING PROVISIONS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE; PROVIDING FOR INCLUSION IN THE TOWN OF PALM SHORES CODE

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF PALM SHORES AMENDING CHAPTER 151 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE TOWN; REPEALING SAID CHAPTER 151 IN ITS ENTIRETY; ADOPTING A NEW CHAPTER 151; ADOPTING FLOOD HAZARD MAPS; DESIGNATING A FLOODPLAIN ADMINISTRATOR; ADOPTING PROCEDURES AND CRITERIA FOR DEVELOPMENT IN FLOOD HAZARD AREAS; PROVIDING FOR DEFINITIONS; ADOPTING LOCAL ADMINISTRATIVE AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL, INCLUSION IN THE CODE OF ORDINANCES,SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF PALM SHORES, BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA; AMENDING TITLE XV, CHAPTER 154 ZONING REGULATIONS, CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE TOWN; ADDING A NEW SECTION 154.066 RELATING TO REQUIRED MIMIMUM LANDCSAPING FOR SINGLE FAMILY HOMES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AREA ENCOMPASSED; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND PROVIDING FOR INCLUSION IN THE TOWN OF PALM SHORES CODE OF ORDINANCES

        D.  Ordinance 2014-04 – Dictionary of Architecture and Construction use for undefined terms - First reading. (Unanimously approved by Planning and Zoning)

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE XV, CHAPTERS 150, 151, 153, 154, 156 AND 157 OF THE LAND USAGE CODE OF THE TOWN OF PALM SHORES, BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA; AMENDING SECTIONS 150.01, 151.014, 153.001, 154.002, 156.01 AND  157.003, DEFINITIONS BY ADDING A PROVISION TO SUCH SECTIONS STATING THAT WHERE ANY TERM USED IS NOT DEFINED THEN SUCH TERM SHALL HAVE THE SAME DEFINITION AS USED IN THE LATEST VERSION OF THE DICTIONARY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION, BY CYRIL M. HARRIS, MCGRAW-HILL PUBLISHING; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTING PROVISIONS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND PROVIDING FOR INCLUSION IN THE TOWN OF PALM SHORES CODE.
